The Peanut Gallery Players Present HELLO, DOLLY! At Meadow Brook Theatre

Peanut Gallery Players, a 501(c)(3) non-profit children's theatre training program for ages 6-18 will bring their talents and nutty elegance to Meadow Brook Theatre for a limited run of "Hello, Dolly!" on August 1, 2 and 3.

Based on Thornton Wilder's play "The Matchmaker", with book by Michael Stewart and music and lyrics by Jerry Herman, "Hello, Dolly!" is the story of a turn-of-the-century widowed matchmaker who after negotiating marriages for others through a series of comic entanglements, ultimately finds her own match.

Full of memorable songs including "Put on Your Sunday Clothes", "Before the Parade Passes By" and of course the iconic showstopper "Hello, Dolly!", the original 1964 Broadway production was hailed as one of the "biggest, brightest musicals of the century". As presented by over 60 students from Oakland and Macomb Counties with their show stopping dance numbers and beautiful costumes, this event promises to be nothing less! A grand musical the whole family will enjoy!

Katie Lane-Waters (Rochester) will headline the 60-member student cast as Dolly Gallagher Levi. She will be well supported with Ian Winarski (Rochester) as half-a-millionaire Horace Vandergelder, Jack Sanitate (Washington Township) as Cornelius Hackl, Jack McCutcheon (Rochester) as Barnaby Tucker, Kennedy Furgerson (Rochester) as Irene Molloy, Rose Bednar (Shelby Township) as Minnie Fay, Harry Hodister (Rochester) as Ambrose Kemper, Brooke Candella (Rochester Hills) as Ermengarde, Kendall Malburg (Shelby Township) as Ernestina, Sawyer Blanck (Pleasant Ridge) as Rudolph, and a host of enthusiastic ensemble members who know no bounds when it comes to song and dance!
