The Bay City Players Stages of Discovery Announces Auditions For THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER, 10/22 & 23
Bay City Players will hold auditions for its Stages of Discovery production, the play The Best Christmas Pageant Ever by Barbara Robinson, on Saturday, October 22 and Sunday October 23, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Auditions will be held at Bay City Players, 1214 Columbus Avenue, in Bay City. Please arrive a few minutes early to fill out audition forms. Performance dates are December 9-11, 2011.
Director Denyse Clayton is looking for: 10 adults (age 25-60) and approximately 17 students (age 7-14)
Also needed are youth to work with lighting, sound, backstage, costumes and publicity as well as several parent volunteers.
In this hilarious Christmas tale, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids-- probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won't believe the mayhem-- and the fun-- when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on!
Auditions are open to the public and newcomers are welcome. Those auditioning will be asked
to read selections from the script. Scripts are available for check-out from the theatre office for a
$10 refundable deposit and due back no later than Friday, October 21st. Please contact the office
