Dubbed "Essential Ringwald", the 10th season will highlight the kind of shows The Ringwald has come to be known for in its 10 year history. The third show of the season is the Michigan premiere of The Legend of Georgia McBride by Matthew Lopez.

He's young, he's broke, his landlord's knocking at the door, and he's just found out his wife is going to have a baby. To make matters even more desperate, Casey is fired from his gig as an Elvis impersonator in a run-down, small-town Florida bar. When the bar owner brings in a B-level drag show to replace his act, Casey finds that he has a whole lot to learn about show business, walking in heels-and himself.

Brandy Joe Plambeck directs a cast that includes Joe Bailey, Meredith Deighton, Vince Kelley, Richard Payton, and Nick Yocum as Casey/Georgia McBride.

Set Design is by Steven Carpenter. Costume Design is by Vince Kelley. Lighting Design is by Brandy Joe Plambeck.

The previously announced January production of Falsettos has been postponed.

The Legend of Georgia McBride opens Friday, January 6, 2017 and plays through Monday, January 30, 2017 at 8pm on Friday, Saturday, and Monday nights with 3pm Sunday matinees.

Ticket prices are $20.00 for Friday and Saturday performances, $15 for Sunday shows, and Monday nights are HALF OFF the original ticket price at only $10 a ticket. The January 6th Opening Night Performance ticket price is $10. The first Sunday performance, November 20, will be PAY AS YOU GO (Patrons will pay what they'd like after seeing the performance). All students can now receive a $5 discount off normal ticket price on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday performances (available at the box office the day of the show with valid student ID).

Tickets can be purchased at www.TheRingwald.com or at the theatre box office. The Ringwald box office opens 45 minutes before performances and tickets can be purchased with cash or credit card.
