What a glorious feeling! Tap your toes and sing along in this splashy adaptation of the celebrated and beloved film. SINGIN' IN THE RAIN plays through August 28.

The "Greatest Movie Musical of All Time" is faithfully and lovingly adapted by Broadway legends, Betty Comden and Adolph Green, from the beloved award-winning MGM film. SINGIN' IN THE RAIN centers on the burgeoning era of "talkies" and the demise of silent films. In 1927, Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont are a hot item on the silent movie scene, but things aren't always as they appear! Without the help of talented young actress Kathy Sheldon to voice-over for her, Lina's squeaky voice might be the end of her career when "talkies" take over Hollywood. This beloved musical stars Jamey Grisham as Don Lockwood, Hannah Eakin as Kathy Selden, first year apprentice Sam Balzac as CosMo Brown, and Melissa Cotton Hunter as Lina Lamont. Rounding out the cast are Brooke Evans as Dora Bailey, Eric Parker as R.F. Simpson, John Jay Espino as Roscoe Dexter, Penelope Alex as Phoebe Dinsmore, Hans Friedrichs as the Dialect Coach, and the Entire company is featured as well!

With fantastic, toe-tapping dance numbers and a celebrated score, SINGIN' IN THE RAIN features several unforgettable, iconic songs such as "Moses Supposes," "Lucky Star," "Good Morning," "Make 'Em Laugh" and the glorious title number "Singin in the Rain."

The Barn Theatre thrilled to partner with Henderson Castle as our filming site for the silent movie sequences. In addition to the downpour of unforgettable scenes, songs and dances, the production also features the show-stopping title number, complete with an onstage rainstorm! Watch-out front row - better bring your raincoats! Hilarious situations, snappy dialogue and a hit-parade score of Hollywood standards make SINGIN' IN THE RAIN the perfect entertainment for any fan of the golden age of movie musicals.
