Purple Rose Theatre Company Seeks Applicants for FALL ACTOR BOOT CAMP, 11/22-24

Jeff Daniels' Purple Rose Theatre Company is accepting applicants for its FALL ACTOR BOOT CAMP scheduled for November 22, 23, 24, 2013 at the Purple Rose rehearsal facility in Chelsea, Michigan. Workshop hours are: Friday, November 22, from 7-11pm, Saturday, November 23, from 10am-6pm and Sunday, November 24, from 11am-3pm.

The ACTOR BOOT CAMP is an intensive sixteen-hour workshop that focuses on acting techniques and career development employed by working professionals. Beginners are welcome.

PRTC Artistic Director Guy Sanville says, "The BOOT CAMP experience is very concentrated and quite powerful. We cram about three months worth of training in a single weekend. Many participants of past workshops call it a "Life changing experience." I guarantee it will stretch your mind, body and spirit."

Purple Rose Artistic Director, Guy Sanville and Purple Rose Resident Artist, Michelle Mountain, will teach the workshop.

The workshop is for people of all skill levels ages 18 and over. The fee is $300.00 and includes lunch on Saturday. Class size is limited to 12.

Founded in 1991, The Purple Rose Theatre Company is dedicated to producing the new American play and creating opportunities for Midwest theatre professionals. The PRTC is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit theatre operating under a Small Professional Theatre agreement with the Actors' Equity Association.
