Purple Rose Theater Holds Auditions For 2009/10 Season 4/21
The Purple Rose Theatre Company will hold general auditions for roles in their 2009 / 2010 season on Monday, April 20 and Tuesday, April 21, 2009 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Auditions will be held at The Purple Rose Theatre Company, 137 Park Street, Chelsea, Michigan 48118.
Artistic Director Guy Sanville is interested in seeing male and female actors over the age of 18. If an actor is unable to attend general auditions, he/she should submit a current headshot and resume to the attention of Guy Sanville, Artistic Director, at The Purple Rose Theatre Company, 137 Park Street, Chelsea, Michigan 48118.
Actors will be asked to perform a one-minute comic monologue and should bring a current headshot and resume to the audition. Actors will be notified by phone if they are being invited to callbacks, which are not currently scheduled. Information regarding available roles has not been finalized; specific production and schedule information will be made available at the audition.
The Purple Rose Theatre Company operates under an SPT Tier 8 contract with Actors' Equity Association and employs both Equity and non-Equity actors. The current Equity salary offer is $399.00 per week.
Audition appointments are required and can be made beginning Monday, March 23 by calling the PRTC Administration Office at (734) 433-PRTC; office hours are Mondays through Fridays from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm.
