Players Guild Of Dearborn Opens HEATHERS THE MUSICAL: HIGH SCHOOL EDITION

Heathers: The Musical (High School Edition) is the darkly delicious story of Veronica Sawyer, a brainy, beautiful teenage misfit who hustles her way into the most powerful and ruthless clique at Westerberg High: the Heathers. But before she can get comfortable atop the high school food chain, Veronica falls in love with the dangerously handsome new kid J.D. When Heather Chandler, the Almighty, kicks her out of the group, Veronica decides to bite the bullet and kiss Heather's aerobicized butt... but J.D. has another plan for that bullet.

Heathers: The Musical is directed and Choreographed by Cayla Kolbusz with Music Direction by Amanda McFarland. The production team includes Graham Dallas as Assistant Director, Mina Haidi as Assistant Choreographer with Tim Carney, Kristen Campbell and Greg Viscomi as Producers and Kori Bielaniec as Guildlings Chair.

*The High School Edition of this musical has edited out most profanity, sexual material and innuendos, however the main story is still the same. Heathers: The Musical is extremely relevant to current times in which it deals with themes of suicide, bullying, homophobia and gun violence at school. The show does not promote these themes but touches upon them in such a way that teenagers are able to create discussion.

Produced in cooperation with Samuel French
