Winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical, "Annie" tells the tale of an orphan determined to escape an orphanage and find her real parents. Along the way Annie befriends a cute dog and a wealthy entrepreneur. With its engaging story and award winning score, "Annie" promises a fun filled evening with wonderful music, singing and dancing!

This production is performed by the Peanut Gallery Players, a non-profit organization. PGP fosters the performing arts through enthusiastic theatrical training of children. This Summer Musical Conservatory production includes residents from Oakland County whom range in age from 6 - 18 years old.

A group of over 70 students perform on stage and back stage. Ginger Johnson (Lake Orion) plays "Annie", David Saksa (Rochester) as "Daddy Warbucks" and AlissaBeth Morton (Oakland Township) stars as "Grace Farrell". Stacy White Cleaveland directs the play with choreography by Briana Rivard & Beth Hansen

Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for students and seniors. Groups of 12 or more should call for group discounts. Tickets are available by calling 248-885-5126 or on-line at www.peanutgalleryplayers.org or at the door the evening of the performance. Performance times are 7:30 pm on Thursday & Friday, August 5 & 6 with a 2:00 pm matinee on Saturday, August 7th.
