New York Times Bestselling Novelist and Screenwriter/Filmmaker to Speak at Loutit District Library

The pubic is invited for a spooky evening with New York Times bestselling author Jay Bonansinga at the Loutit District Library (LDL) on Thursday, October 20th.

Author of twenty-two books, Bonansinga is also an award-winning screenwriter and filmmaker. His credits include the acclaimed YA horror novel Lucid, the Bram Stoker finalist The Black Mariah, the International Thriller Writers Award finalist Shattered, and the wildly popular Walking Dead novels.

Bonansinga will read from his work and answer audience questions. The Bookman will have books available for purchase and signing following the program.

Jay Bonansinga: Jay Bonansinga is the co-author of the New York Times bestselling Walking Dead series as well as a screenwriter and filmmaker who has been called one of the most imaginative writers of thrillers by the Chicago Tribune. He is an acclaimed Bram Stoker award finalist and his books have been translated into nine different languages and several have been optioned by major Hollywood studios. Jay lives in Evanston, Illinois and is a visiting professor at both Northwestern and DePaul universities where he teaches screenwriting.

Loutit District Library is located at 407 Columbus Avenue in Grand Haven, Michigan. The LDL serves 35,540 residents of the City of Grand Haven, the City of Ferrysburg, Grand Haven Charter Township, Robinson Township and that part of Port Sheldon Township in the Grand Haven Area Public School District. LDL offers a collection of over 132,552 items and provides educational, informative, cultural, and recreational programs for all ages. LDL is a member of the Lakeland Library Cooperative.
