MotorCity Casino Hotel welcomes comedian Lisa Lampanelli to Sound Board on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 8:00 p.m.
Lisa Lampanelli is a controversial stand-up comedian known for her outrageous pot shots at celebrities as well as for references to her own weight and sexuality. Born in Connecticut, Lampanelli built her career on the standup circuit in New York. Her acid wit and boisterous delivery has won many fans as well as the nickname "Comedy's Lovable Queen of Mean."
Lampanelli has been a regular at celebrity roasts on Comedy Central and has made television and film appearances. She was a contestant on The Celebrity Apprentice 5 and her one-woman show, Bring Back the Fat Chick, premiered on Broadway in 2012.
