Matrix Theatre Company Hosts 2014-15 Season Preview Party Today

Matrix Theatre Company will host its second annual Preview Party to introduce the 2014 - 2015 Mainstage Season of professional theatre. This free event will take place today, October 18 from 4pm - 6pm at Matrix Theatre Company, 2730 Bagley, Detroit, MI, 48216.

The Preview Party features complimentary food, hard apple cider and soft drinks, and brief performances from each Mainstage Season production. Patrons will have the opportunity to mingle with artistic staff, directors, and actors. They will also have a chance to purchase season ticket passes for a 20% savings off regularly priced adult, student, and senior tickets. In addition to entertainment and delicious food and drinks, theatre-goers will be some of the first to experience the newly renovated theatre space and lobby.

"The inaugural Matrix Mainstage Preview Party was a great success last year, so we recognize the value of offering our patrons a chance to get a glimpse of what the season has in store for this year," said Megan Buckley-Ball, Artistic Director. "The last few months have given us a lot of reasons to celebrate, including two Wilde Awards for our work in the 2013 - 2014 season. Now it's time to look ahead and focus on the fantastic lineup we have planned for our newly renovated space!"

Matrix's 2014 - 2015 Mainstage Season features Rapture, Blister, Burn by Gina Gionfriddo, directed by Lisa Hodge Kander; Best of Enemies by Mark St. Germain, directed by Kelly Komlen; and Precious Little by Madeleine George, directed by Amanda Grace Ewing.
