Following enormously successful solo tours, America's favorite stars of the Emmy-nominated Whose Line Is It Anyway? have teamed up to present an evening of extraordinary improvisational comedy. MATRIX:MIDLAND Festival presents An Evening with Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood on Wednesday, May 27 at 8:00 p.m. at Midland Center for the Arts, 1801 W. St. Andrews Rd., Midland. Using their lightning-fast wit, Colin and Brad take contributions from The Audience to create hilarious and original scenes.

The show is truly interactive and no one is safe, as audience members are brought on stage to participate in the zany action. Their high-profile presentations have played to sell-out crowds across the country. Tickets cost $34 and $38, and are available online at www.mcfta.org or by calling 800-523-7649. Recommended for middle school and older. Meet friends and unwind at the Garden Pub & Patio before the show, where beer, wine and soft drinks will be available for purchase, beginning at 6 p.m.

Colin Mochrie's first appearance on the British version of Whose Line is it Anyway? was in 1991. His role on the American Whose Line got off to a rocky start when ABC wanted to drop Mochrie because they thought the comedian looked too old and not hip enough. Thankfully those involved in the show held their ground, and ABC was smart enough to see that talent and creativity were more important than "hip." The fans agreed, making Mochrie a popular mainstay on the American Whose Line stage. In addition to time spent touring, Colin has been busy appearing in commercials as the Nabisco Snack Fairy. He's been heavily involved in independent and small movie projects, including "The Movie Co-op," a Canadian venture formed to help produce great Canadian movies funded by and run by the artists themselves.

Brad Sherwood is a regular cast member on ABC's ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?" and was a regular on the British version on Comedy Central as well. His credits include The Drew Carey Show, VH-1's I Love the 70s, 80, & 90s and over 100 sketch appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Brad's other credits include a season on LA Law, To Tell The Truth, The Newz, guest hosting Talk Soup, and hosting The New Dating Game.
