Meadow Brook Theatre welcomes the beloved Cindy Williams to the stage in the Michigan premiere of Mom's Gift by Phil Olson. She returns to the Meadow Brook stage for the fourth time this January.

William's plays Mom, a ghost with a mission, who shows up at her husband's birthday party after being dead for 11 months. Like Clarence, in "It's a Wonderful Life," she must accomplish a task to earn her wings, but what exactly remains a mystery. There are so many things to fix!

Williams has played many important roles throughout her career, in films such as George Lucas's American Graffiti and Francis Ford Coppola's The Conversation, but Williams became an American icon with her beloved role of Shirley Feeney in Happy Days and Laverne & Shirley. Recently, Williams has taken to Live Theatre, performing in various national tours and making her Broadway debut in 2008 in, The Drowsy Chaperone.

"We're so excited to have Cindy Williams come back to Meadow Brook Theatre," said Cheryl Marshall, Managing Director. "She is a truly gifted actress and entertainer."

Mom's Gift will perform January 4 - 29 at Meadow Brook Theatre. Tickets are available by calling the Meadow Brook Theatre box office at 248-377-3300 or going online at www.ticketmaster.com. Groups of eight or more should call 248-370-3316 for group discounts.
