Grand Haven Main Street Announces the 2016 Preferred Automotive ArtBike Parade and Family Art Day

Grand Haven Main Street is excited to announce that the popular Preferred Automotive ArtBike Parade will once again be rolling through town on Saturday, September 24th at 11:30am during the fourth day of the Grand Haven ArtWalk.

Join in the fun by decorating your bike in any crazy way you'd like. The more the merrier! Showcase your artistic style or your business' creative style! This is a fun event for all ages. However, if you're not inclined to ride, you won't want to miss the wackiness, so find a viewing spot on Washington Avenue.

Bike registration begins at 10:30am and the parade begins at 11:30am at the intersection of Washington Avenue and Third Street, it ends at Harbor Drive. The bikes are then displayed around the Brass River for public voting. Prizes are awarded by age group.Participation is free. Winners will be announced at 2pm.

Stick around after the parade for ArtWalk's Family Art Day. Painting stations will be set up at the south end of the City Marina parking lot. Kids and adults, too, can create works of art on canvas or wood. There will be burgers on the grill for all to enjoy. This is also a free event sponsored by Preferred Automotive, Harbor Restaurants, Michigan Rag, and Baker Lumber Co.
