Go Comedy! Presents THE TIM MACHINE 1/12
Go Comedy! Improv Theater will kick off 2012 with a time-travelling adventure that looks at how things change and remain the same over decades and in the future.
The original comedy, The Tim Machine will open January 12 and play Thursday and Friday nights at Go Comedy! through March 2. Tickets ($15) are on sale now at www.gocomedy.net and are available online at www.gocomedy.net, by calling (248) 327-0575 or in person at the Go Comedy! box office beginning at 7pm Wednesday – Sunday evenings. About the show: "The world is filled with protests, fights for equality and the fear of unemployment and poverty. Yes, welcome to life in 2012. Or, wait. Is it 1972? Oh, the times, they aren't a changin.' Seems we earthlings never learn from our past. But, when an octogenarian named Tim invents a time machine in the year 2052, he has a chance to return to the past and help shape his future. The Tim Machine explores life on earth in three different eras of time and examines how much our world changes and grows...or doesn't."
The Tim Machine is directed by Nancy Edwards (Ferndale) and written by its performers Jennifer Bloomer (Dearborn Heights), Michelle Giorlando (Royal Oak), Gary Lehman (Ann Arbor), Tim Kay (Fenton), Sean May (Eastpointe) and Heather Sejnowski (Royal Oak), with additional writing by Vivi Jona (Farmington Hills). Tickets are $15 and performances will run at 8:00pm Thursday and Friday evenings January 12 – March 2.
