Go Comedy! Improv Announces LOVE AND OTHER URBAN LEGENDS Opening 5/7

Go Comedy! Improv Theater, named as one of Detroit's Best by The Metro Times, is excited to announce the opening of its second original written comedy, Love and Other Urban Legends, Thursday, May 7 at 8:00pm. Tickets ($10) are available by calling (248) 327-0575, or beginning at 7:00pm Wednesday - Sunday at the Go Comedy! box office.

Love and Other Urban Legends is a revue-style comedy that tackles how dating, love and relationships affect our lives in the funniest of ways. The show has been written through improvisation by Go Comedy! resident cast members Anne Faba (Clinton Township) and Suzan Gouine (Ferndale) with Marke Sobolewski (Allen Park), and direction by Tommy LeRoy & Michelle LeRoy (Ferndale). The show is scheduled for an open-ended run.

Love and Other Urban Legends is followed by the 9 O'Clock Comedy Hour featuring the Go Comedy! House Team and other special guests. At 10:00pm, the original written comedy, Missionary Accomplished: The Audacity of Hump, a rollicking adventure through the wonderful world of sex, takes the stage. The night concludes with the original musical improv hit, Matt Naas & The Sing-A-Long Singers where The Audience joins Go Comedy! resident member Matt Naas on an improvised sing-a-long adventure that changes every week.
