Fox Theatre Adds Performance To CIRQUE DREAMS HOLIDAZE

With two sellout performances Cirque Dreams Holidaze is Detroit's new holiday craze. By overwhelming demand a 1:00 p.m. performance on Wednesday, Dec. 23 has been added at the Fox Theatre. Cirque Dreams Holidaze will perform for eight shows, December 22-27.

It's "...more fun than riding in a one-horse open sleigh or roasting chestnuts on an open fire," according to Dave Richards of the Erie Times News. In a recent review Richard wrote: "The Broadway-worthy spectacle features an international cast of performers who pull off increasingly difficult, mind-boggling feats...The colorful set virtually explodes at you...It's the kind of show you almost need to see twice to take in all that's unfolding..."

Created and directed by Neil Goldberg, CIRQUE DREAMS HOLIDAZE is an original new musical extravaganza filled with spectacle, imagination and whimsical dreams. Ornaments come to life as costumed characters who perform astonishing feats that celebrate the holiday season and showcase pageantry, ingenuity and breathtaking artistry. An international cast of acrobats, aerialists, singers, dancers and musicians fill this Cirque Dream on stage, in the air and while dangling from a 24 foot tall magical tree.
