Double JJ Resort to Celebrate Fall with 'Pumpkin Patch' Event
Rothbury, Mich. - The Double JJ Resort in Rothbury is celebrating the fall season with 'Pumpkin Patch', a free event for the family on Saturday and Sunday, October 15th and 16th, from 11am to 7pm each day. The event will be held at the Frontier section of the resort.
Hundreds of free pumpkins of different sizes, shapes and colors will be available for children to select. Staff will be on hand to paint the pumpkins for $3. Additionally, complimentary fresh baked chocolate chip cookies will be offered.
The Thoroughbred Golf Club will also offer self-guided golf cart tours through the magnificent 400 acre course. Participants can rent a two-person cart for $5 per person, to see the spectacular fall colors starting to change.
All other activities will be open through the weekend for the whole family; the Gold Rush Waterpark, trail rides and wagon rides. Those wishing to take a trail ride or wagon ride should call ahead to reserve a time. Kid's Canvas will be open at the Craft Corner in the main building at a cost of $10.
The Sundance Steakhouse and Rustler's Roost will be open during their regular hours for the weekend. The Double JJ will offer the standard Friday and Saturday night Karaoke at Rustler's Roost in the Frontier section of the property.
