Cast Announced For NANA'S NAUGHTY KNICKERS At The Sauk Image

The Sauk, Hillsdale County's Community Theatre, will open their 2019 season with the hilarious comedy NANA'S NAUGHTY KNICKERS by Katherine DiSavino. Performances are scheduled February 7-10 and 14-17.

Bridget and her grandmother are about to become roommates. However, what Bridget saw as a unique opportunity to stay with her favorite nana in New York for the summer quickly turns into an experience she'll never forget. It seems her sweet grandma is running an illegal boutique from her apartment, selling handmade naughty knickers to every senior citizen in the five-borough area! Will Bridget be able to handle all the excitement? Will her nana get arrested - or worse - evicted?

Returning to the Sauk stage is Deb Lemke as Nana, Shannon Chen as Bridget, Timothy Brayman as Mr. Schmidt, Brock Hayes as The UPS Man, Travis Blatchley as the Voice/Second UPS Man and Roene Trevisan as Clair. New to the Sauk stage are Tyler Crawford as Tom, Lois Williams as Vera and Tami Hindes as Heather.

The production is being directed by Trinity Bird with stage management by Allison Cleveland. The design team includes Bruce Crews (set), Trevisan (costumes), Bird (lights), Geremy Burns (sound) and Blatchley (properties).

Performances are at 8 p.m. on February 7-9 and 14-16 and at 3 p.m. on February 10 and 17. All performances take place at the Sauk Theatre, 240 E. Chicago St. in Jonesville. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors (55 and up) and students (with a valid i.d.) and $8 for children (12 and under). Tickets can be purchased at www.thesauk.org or by calling 517-849-9100. The February 7 performance is a "Pay What You Can" preview. Preview tickets are not sold in advance. The February 14 performance is $5 senior night.
This production is sponsored by Playford Real Estate, Country Carpets and Don Toffolo of Edward Jones. The 2019 season is sponsored by Expressions Photography & Design (www.expressions.photography). The Sauk is also supported by the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs and the National Endowment of the Arts.
