Bay City Players Hosts Its 36th Annual Summer Presentation 6/11-13 In Bay City
Bay City Players Youtheatre will hold its 36th annual summer presentation Thursday, June 11th, Friday, June 12th and Saturday, June 13th, 2009 at Bay City Players, 1214 Columbus Avenue in Bay City. Performance times are 10 a.m., 2 p.m., and 7 p.m. each day. Eight different one-act plays will be performed, and the shows are suitable for all ages. Tickets are $3.00 per session (each session includes 2-3 plays), or $5.00 for a three-day pass (admission to all performances, all days). Tickets will be sold at the door, and are available starting June 11th.
Youtheatre is a program in which students are able to learn about theatre productions by presenting one act plays. Third through ninth graders perform in the productions while seasoned high school students function as directors with the support of adult staff. This year's group includes over 155 elementary and middle school students, with over 50 student directors from area high schools.
