Bay City Players Announce Auditions for ALMOST, MAINE 10/2, 10/3

Bay City Players will hold auditions for its upcoming production, Almost, Maine by John Cariani, on Sunday, October 2 at 6:00 p.m. and Monday, October 3, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. Auditions will be held at Bay City Players, 1214 Columbus Avenue, in Bay City. Directed by Susan Meade.

Performance dates are January 13-15 and 19-22, 2012. Director, Susan Meade is looking for:

An even number of men and women (4 to 8) ages 20 to 45

THE PLOT: On a cold, clear, winter night in the remote town of Almost, Maine, nothing is quite what it seems. As the northern lights glow in the star-filled sky, the folks of Almost keep finding themselves falling in and falling out of love in the most unexpected and often hilarious ways imaginable. A sense of magic embraces this midwinter night's dream as it breathes smiles and romance into the brisk night air. Have a hot chocolate with your sweetie after you see this one. Those auditioning will be asked to read selections from the script. Limited scripts are available for check-out from the theatre office Monday - Friday from 9am to 1pm for a $10 refundable deposit.
