Barn Theatre Presents ASL Interpreted Performance of TARZAN Tonight

By:

The Barn Theatre will host an American Sign Language Interpreted performance of the musical TARZAN tonight, July 31 at 8:00 p.m.

Our Nationally Certified ASL interpreters will be Kathleen Robertson and Misti Ryefield.

When a shipwreck leaves an infant boy orphaned on the shores of West Africa, the helpless baby is adopted and raised by a female gorilla Kala. Years later, Tarzan has grown into a young man. He begins to discover his uniqueness and yearns for acceptance from his ape father Kerchak. The tribe's lives change forever when a Professor leads an expedition enters the jungle, and Tarzan falls in love with Jane, the Professor's daughter. Jane teaches Tarzan about humankind and they begin to fall in love. When their two worlds collide, Tarzan must choose between the life he has known and the world of man.

TARZAN features songs written by the GRAMMY-winning musician Phil Collins and a book by David Henry Hwang, winner of Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics and Obie awards, and a Pulitzer Prize nominee.

The Barn Theatre is located on M-96, west of Augusta. Tickets are $35.00. Visa, MasterCard and Discover are accepted. The Box Office is open daily, 10:00 am - 10:00 pm. You may reserve tickets over the phone ~ (269) 731-4121 or purchase them online at www.barntheatre.com.
