Slow Burn Theatre Co. is at 201 SW 5th Ave.
Slow Burn’s mission is to showcase the best of contemporary musical theatre to South Florida, particularly by producing high-quality shows that likely have not been seen by our audiences. We recognize and support the incredible talents of South Florida’s creative professionals, and we provide them with a home where they can create and perform in a nurturing and rewarding environment. We opened our first show, Bat Boy: The Musical in February of 2010 in West Boca Community High School’s auditorium. In the Fall of 2015, with the Southeastern Premiere of Big Fish, we began a partnership with the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale to produce our mainstage titles in the 580-seat Amaturo Theater. To date, Slow Burn Theatre has produced 52 full-scale musicals. Audiences, peers and critics alike have embraced us, supported us and helped to make us what we are today. Thanks for checking out our website. It means something we’ve done, something we plan on doing, or what we want to accomplish has struck a chord with you. We promise to keep the fire burning!
