MIAMI LIGHT PROJECT'S
LIGHT BOX STUDIO PERFORMANCE SERIES PRESENTS
A Mad Cat Theatre Company Production of
Samuel Beckett's
Waiting for Godot

Miami Light Project continues its Light Box Studio Performance
Series with Mad Cat Theatre Company's production of Waiting for
Godot by Samuel Beckett. Waiting for Godot is one of the world's
most celebrated plays since World War 2. The tragicomedy by Nobel
Prize winning Samuel Beckett raises the question; what does it all
mean? But the message of hope amid chaos and despair is what Mad Cat
is focusing on in these troubled times in the wake of the shattered
lives from Hurricane Katrina. A percentage of their total revenue will
go to Noah's Wish, an organization dedicated to the aid of abandoned
or misplaced animals

Mad Cat, a local theatre company that specializes in it's own brand
of irreverent humor and original material was founded by
actor/writer/director Paul Tei in the fall of 2000 with a cast and
design team made up of Miami-based artists.  Since their inaugural
production of Helluva Halloween in October of 2000, they have been
named "Best Fringe Theater" by the Miami New Times in 2003 and 2005
and have brought South Florida four seasons worth of world premieres
including Here in My Car (Best Stage Comedy- Miami New Times),
Portrait (Curtain Up Awards- Best New Work, Best Director, Best
Supporting Actor; Carbonell Award- Best Lighting; Carbonell
Nomination- Best New Work), Tin Box Boomerang (Carbonell Award- Best
