The Little Sisters of Hoboken return to the Manatee Players in NUNSENSATIONS 10/28

By: Oct. 11, 2010

Dan Goggin's hilarious NUNSENSATIONS opens at the Manatee Players on October 28 and runs through November 14. Performances are Tuesday - Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $25 including facility fee for adults and $11 including facility fee for students. Tickets may be reserved by calling 748-5875 Monday - Friday from 9-5 and one hour before curtain on performance days or on the Manatee Players' website: www.manateeplayers.com . All performances are at 102 Old Main Street in downtown Bradenton.

Nunsensations: The Nunsense Vegas Revue takes the sisters on a brand new adventure. When a parishioner volunteers to donate $10,000 to the sisters' school if they will perform in a club in Las Vegas, Mother Superior is hesitant to accept. However, after being convinced by the other sisters that "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" Reverend Mother agrees. What follows is the most feather-filled, sequin-studded, fan dancing Nunsense show ever! Performing in "The Pump Room" at the Mystique Motor Lodge, the sisters experience "show-biz" like never before. You'll find out who's Black and White with Her Money on Red, and try to win a new car with the "Holy Rollers Giant Slot Machine."

Jeanne larranaga returns as Reverend Mother along with Stephanie Woodman-Costello reprising her role as Sr. Robert Anne. Joining them in the fun is Johana Davila as Sr. Leo, Nancy Denton as Sr. Hubert and Laura Raines as Sr. Amnesia.

The show is being directed and choreographed by Steven Flaa with Aaron Cassette as the musical director.
