Some of these plays are pending acquisition of rights. In addition to our five mainstage shows, we will be scheduling a number of other special events as our schedule permits.

The search is underway for DIRECTORS for our mainstage! To apply, please E-mail Rich Reifsnyder (rcreif@yahoo.com) a cover letter stating your intention to apply for a director position and the play(s) for which you wish to be considered. The deadline for application is Sunday, March 20. If you had not previously applied in the 2010-2011 season, then please also submit an up-to-date resume.

Once all applications are received, the Director Search Committee will schedule half-hour discussions with each director in the following two weeks. This discussion is only mandatory for applicants who did not apply for 2010-2011 and with no prior directing experience at Surfside. For all others, it is recommended if you have a strong interest in a specific show and wish to communicate your artistic vision to the Committee. We want the best possible fit of a director to a play. After these discussions, the Board of Governors will reach a decision by Tuesday, April 12.
