A sweeping, romantic tale of love and deception, NAUGHTY MARIETTA is set in colorful French New Orleans of 1750. Countess Marietta, upon running away from her home in France, disguises herself as one of the marriageable "casquette" girls sent by the King of France to New Orleans. Upon her arrival she is befriended by an American frontiersman, Captain Richard Warrington, who is under orders to capture the notorious pirate, Bras Pique. The Lieutenant-Governor's son, Etienne, also has his eye on Marietta, and tumultuous conflict ensues as Marietta dangles both men at her will. A romantic and hilarious plot combined with some of the most memorable music ever written for the American musical stage, NAUGHTY MARIETTA is a show you won't want to miss!
