Outré Theatre Company Presents A Staged Reading of

Buried Child by Sam Shepard

Join Outré Theatre Company as they present the second in their pre-season reading series, Buried Child by Sam Shepard. This performance is hosted by Miami Beach Stage Door at the historic Byron Carlyle Theatre, for one performance only, on December 12 at 7:00 pm.

Shepard's Pulitzer Prize-winning, contemporary classic drama examines a family with a secret that is clawing away at the souls of its members.  When Vince, the grandson, arrives after an absence of several years, the secret threatens to spill forth and destroy everyone.  Layered with postmodernist symbolism and sardonic humor, Buried Child won the 1979 Pulitzer Prize for Drama for its depiction of the crumbling of the American Dream.

The cast for this reading of Buried Child are Dodge portrayed by Jim Gibbons; Tilden portrayed by Jeff Holmes; Halie portrayed by Lory Reyes; Bradley portrayed by Scott Douglas Wilson; Father Dewis portrayed by Mark A. Harmon; Shelly portrayed by Nori Tecosky; and Vince portrayed by Daniel Nieves.

Tickets are available for a suggested donation of $8 and are available at the door. The Byron Carlyle is located at 500 71 Street, Miami Beach, FL 33140.  WWW.OUTRETHEATRECOMPANY.COM.
