Old School Square is launching the 2017-2018 season with 11 outstanding shows and concerts in October & November.

Tickets are available for online purchase now at www.OldSchoolSquare.org and the eight Friday Concerts are all free.


October 6 at 6 pm (Friday)

Press Play! Season Launch Party

The public is invited to a season launch party with a sneak peek of what's new for the 2017-18 season. Get a glimpse of the shows and lectures in the Crest Theatre; enjoy refreshments in the Producers Lounge and a showcase of works by Creative Arts School students and instructors; upstairs, the Creative Arts School studios and classrooms will be open and instructors will be on hand to talk about the exciting fall offerings. Visit the Fieldhouse, next door, to see one of Palm Beach County's most unique wedding and event venues, pick up rental information, enjoy entertainment and refreshments. Outside, check out a special Art Walk printmaking demo by FAU students in front of the Cornell Art Museum and find out about the Museum's (post-renovation) Grand Re-Opening. Be sure to stick around for the Free Friday Concert with Turnstiles beginning at 7:30 pm.

Queen Machine

The best Queen cover band in Denmark and one of Europe's fastest growing shows, Queen Machine features the charismatic and extremely talented front-man Bjarke Baisner, who embodies Freddy Mercury with every note. This is a spectacular live-performance that will deliver a magical experience for all Queen fans.

How I Became a Pirate

Sail off on a swashbuckling musical excursion as young Jeremy Jacobs joins Captain Braid Beard's band of comical pirates and searches for the perfect spot to bury their treasure. This show is a joyful family musical that is sure to leave young mateys singing and dancing in the aisles.

Old School Square is the center of arts & entertainment in downtown Delray Beach and has served as the community's gathering place for over 25 years. The historic campus welcomes half a million people each year for programs, classes, events and rental activities and includes the intimate Crest Theatre (in the restored 1925 Delray High School building) the Cornell Art Museum (in the 1913 Delray Elementary building), and the Fieldhouse (c. 1925). The Pavilion, which opened in 2002, hosts outdoor concerts and shows. The Creative Arts School (2nd floor of the Crest Theatre building) offers art, photography and writing classes.
