One night, one stellar performance! Buddy Holly fans will delight at the latest line up at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts -- Not Fade Away: A Tribute to Buddy Holly is set to take the stage on February 17th, 2017 at 7:30PM.
Not Fade Away is a tribute to the music of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, The Big Bopper, and more! This is not your typical tribute show. Six talented young artists bring us back to the days of swoonin', boppin' and rockin'! With fresh new takes on classic hit songs includingThat'll Be The Day, Peggy Sue, Everyday, Summertime Blues, Oh Donna, La Bamba, Chantilly Lace, Beggar to a King, andTwist and Shout, audiences won't be able to resist getting up on their feet and dancing the night away!
The musicians/actors of Not Fade Away will take you on a fun journey through the music of an era that lives on. Buddy Holly is considered by many to be the father of rock and roll. Holly who died in the infamous 1959 plane crash at age 22 along with Valens and The Big Bopper, will be paid tribute to by Jared Mancuso. The 30 year old Mancuso is a singer, dancer, actor, song writer, and musician who has portrayed the rock legend from coast to coast. Mancuso will be performing with fellow musicians and actors who have shared the stage with him on many national tours.
