NADA Announces 2018 International Gallery Prize Recipients From Mexico And Poland New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) is pleased to announce Parallel Oaxaca (Oaxaca) and Stereo (Warsaw) as the 2018 recipients of the third annual NADA International Gallery Prize.

The initiative awards galleries based outside the United States a distinctive platform to participate in NADA New York for the first time in a sponsored booth, furthering NADA's global mission of cultivation, support, and advancement of new and relevant voices in contemporary art.

"The International Gallery Prize was designed as a platform to support NADA's global community and spotlight international gallery programs for the public during the fairs," said Heather Hubbs, NADA Executive Director. "We are proud to welcome Parallel Oaxaca and Stereo to participate in NADA
New York for the first time, with two unique presentations."

At NADA New York, Parallel Oaxaca will present work from Jennifer Teets and Lorenzo Cirrincione's research for Elusive Earths, which explores the moral economies of geophagy: the extraction of natural resources from the earth for pharmacological remedies.

Stereo will present multi-layered paintings by Jakub Czyszczon and small three-dimensional sculptural works by Noa Glazer that share a preoccupation with the material world, creating artworks that combine natural and artificial elements picked up from their closest surroundings.

The 2018 International Gallery Prize recipients were selected by the NADA New York 2018 Selection Committee. The prize is supported by visitors of NADA New York through ticket sales.

This year's NADA New York will showcase the best of contemporary art from around the world, with 100 exhibitors representing 33 cities from 17 different countries, including Argentina, Belgium, Canada, Colombia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Guatemala, Hungary, Japan, Mexico, Poland, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and United States.

About NADA
Founded in 2002, New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(6) collective of professionals working with contemporary art. Its mission is to create an open flow of information, support, and collaboration within the arts field and to develop a stronger sense of community among its constituency. Through support and encouragement, NADA facilitates strong and meaningful relationships between its members working with new contemporary and emerging art. In addition NADA hosts two fairs a year, NADA New York and NADA Miami.

NADA Projects
Inaugurated in 2010, NADA Projects is a unique programmatic platform for presenting new art within the art fair environment. The discrete, self-contained booths are specifically designed to highlight small-scale presentations from emerging galleries and independent organizations.
