Manatee Players Presents SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE 10/30

Congratulations to the cast and crew of the Manatee Players' production of SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE for winning "Best Production" at the Florida Theatre Conference Festival in Lakeland, FL on Saturday October 30.

This is the fourth time that the theatre company has won the FTC festival.

They will now represent the state of Florida at the South Eastern Theatre Conference Festival in Atlanta, GA in early March 2011.

Other awards bestowed that day on the cast and crew were "Best Actress" to DiAnne Dawson, "Best Costumes" to David W. Walker, "Best Set Design" to Marc Lalosh and a special acting award to Steve Dawson. The production was performed before an audience of around 300 in the Youkey Theatre in the Lakeland Center.
