Maltz Jupiter Theatre Announces Music, Comedy And Theatre Events For February

Rock, roll and remember how great it is to be an American this February at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. The theatre has a variety of theatrical and musical performances that are guaranteed to swell hearts and get toes tapping:

Tintypes - Feb. 9-28 - One of the theatre's season shows, Tintypes is a patriotic musical revue that serves up a slice of pre-World War I Americana. The show boasts patriotic and romantic tunes from such composers as George M. Cohan, John Philip Sousa and Scott Joplin. Thrill to such tunes as Stars and Stripes Forever, I'm a Yankee Doodle Boy and America the Beautiful, all performed by a cast of Broadway singers and set to stirring arrangements. Tickets: $40-$59.

The Maltz Jupiter Theatre also has a children's show and a selection of limited engagements guaranteed to please just about anyone:

Cinderella - 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13 - Teach kids the love of attending theatre with a Kids Korner series presentation of Cinderella, presented by Chick-fil-A. The show is inspired by one of the most popular fairy tales ever written. Be enchanted as the Fairy Godmother takes on the Evil Stepmother to ensure that Cinderella and Prince Charming are reunited for the happiest of endings. Tickets: $12.

Bobby Rydell - 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14 - It's the perfect Valentine's date with your sweetheart. Bobby Rydell is listed on Billboard as having 34 Top 40 hits and is one of the Top 5 artists of his era with such hits as Kissin' Time, That Old Black Magic, We Got Love and Wild Thing. Tickets: $55.

The Platters - 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15 - They're smooth and sophisticated, with velvety harmonies that helped launch the sound of doo wop. The Platters offer a perfect opportunity to take a trip down memory lane with such hits as Only You (And You Alone), Smoke Gets in Your Eyes and Great Pretender. Tickets: $45.

The Beatle Maniacs - 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21 - The Fab Four are back as The Beatle Maniacs take the stage. The group looks and sounds like The Beatles as it sings such hits as Yesterday and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Tickets: $45.

Late Nite Catechism 3 - "Til Death Do Us Part" - 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22 - After teaching students about the saints, sins, limbo and more, Sister now offers hilarious lessons on the sacraments of marriage and the last rites. She even presents her own wacky version of The Newlywed Game. Tickets: $40.
