Lake Worth Playhouse to Present THE TROPICANA on November 2, 2013

By: Oct. 20, 2013

From the Producers of last January's sold out, riotously acclaimed fundraising event, The Speakeasy, comes a wildly anticipate sequel, The Tropicana in Lake Worth, FL. !

This time, we are taking you to Havana, Cuba for another fun filled night of drinking, gambling, light fare, dancing and cabaret style entertainment. Travel back in time to the 1950's and experience the spectacular, tropical and colorful days of El Tropicana; a world renowned Caribbean cabaret and nightclub.

The Tropicana was said to give visitors a feeling of being in an unreal world of exotic splendor and was dubbed as "the most beautiful casino in the world" as well as "the Monte Carlo in the Americas." Enjoy the sights and sounds of the most flamboyant nightclub of the 1950's. Guests are encouraged to attend in costume to fully submerse themselves in the grandeur and imagination of the evening.

Tickets are available for $40 per person, a portion of which is tax-deductible. All profits raised will be used to further the mission of the Lake Worth Playhouse, a non-profit community theatre whose mission is to provide entertainment, education, and opportunities for artistic expression through volunteerism, community involvement and support.
