Lake Worth Playhouse
Nicole Laing nicole@lakeworthplayhouse.org The Lake Worth Playhouse is happy to announce a poster design contest for our Annual L-Dub Film Festival held at our Stonzek Theatre! Each year, our L-Dub Film Festival features a variety of film genres from music videos, shorts and documentaries to full length features. Our mission is to celebrate the art of filmmaking, provide industry collaboration opportunities for emerging filmmakers and outlets for filmmakers to present their work and gain recognition from their peers, the public and industry professionals. The film festival schedule includes a filmmaker reception, a meet and greet, an awards ceremony, as well as workshops and screenings. We are seeking a poster that is graphically attractive, original and unique to the artist. The artwork should be at least 24" x 36" in dimension at 300dpi. The poster will be displayed in the Stonzek Theatre, used in marketing and advertising, and posted on social media and our website, and included on the event program. Any style will be accepted as we are an indie film house and appreciate ALL forms of art. The only requirement (besides the dimensions) is that it needs to be printable as a poster. Please submit your artwork to our Marketing Director, Nicole Laing: nicole@lakeworthplayhouse.org by September 8th, 2017. A low res jpg can be emailed as the submission and if chosen, you will be required to send high resolution, editable artwork (.psd, .eps. .tiff). (Text must be editable so we can change the date information in following years.) The winner will be announced at this year's L-Dub Film Festival taking place September 22nd through September 24th, 2017 and will have their work be the official new look of next years' festival. If you have any questions, please email nicole@lakeworthplayhouse.org.
