King Center Announces JOSEPH...DREAMCOAT Auditions, 5/7
Calling all energetic youth who love to sing.....your participation is needed!
AUDITIONS HELD ON SATURDAY, MAY 7TH

AUDITIONS - 11 am - 3 pm
For Boys and Girls Between the Ages of 10-13 Years Old
On Saturday May 7th, the King Center and Theater of the Stars will hold auditions for boys and girls between the ages of 10-13 years old, for a large youth chorus in
JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT which will be at the King Center on June 18th - 19th.
Registration is from 10 am -11 am. You must be in line at registration in order to audition. The auditions start at 11 am. Anyone arriving after 11 am is not guaranteed a registration number. These auditions are for non-Equity actors who have not yet graduated from High School. Call backs will take place later the same day. Audition location: King Center 3865 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne, FL 32935.
In order to audition, you must have one 8 x 10 copy of your headshot (color headshots are preferred but black and white will be accepted) and a resume. An 8x10
school or close-up photo is acceptable. It does not have to be a professional photo. Head shots will not be returned. You must have these materials with you in order
to audition.
The auditions are for a large youth chorus in JOSEPH. We will be looking for 50 boys and girls to participate in JOSEPH who will be required to sing and do movement in
the show. You should be prepared to sing "Go, Go, Go Jo" from JOSEPH. Accompaniment will be provided.
Call backs will be in the late afternoon/evening on Saturday May 7th. If asked to return for call backs you should wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to dance,
and sing another song. Accompaniment will be provided. Selected participants will be required to pay a $25.00 fee which includes lunch, snacks, dinner, music and
tee shirt.
In order to be cast in JOSEPH you must be available from June 14th -19th for the entire time period. If you are selected for the show it will be mandatory to be at ALL rehearsals and performances. JOSEPH is touring to other cities but these auditions are for the Melbourne, Florida engagements only.
