Kids Komedy Klub Presents Holiday Performances, 12/18-2/12
Florida Studio Theatre's Kids Komedy Club (KKC) brings a special twist to your holiday season! Join these kids for a variety of uproarious improv games, parodies and comedic sketchs - all rated "K" for kids. Upcoming holiday shows include two Thanksgiving performances and two New Years' performances. Tickets are only $6, and include lunch and a drink.
A group of young actors aged 9-17 will lead the audience in an interactive performance that is nothing but fun! Kids Komedy Club is an inspiring event for young performers-to-be and theatre lovers alike. The cast is a product of FST's Education Program, which offers a variety of classes and workshops for children, teens and adults year-round.
Kids Komedy Club began its season with a spooktacular Halloween show on October 30. The Goldstein Cabaret was filled with eager kids and loud laughs! Next, the KKC troupe members will put the 'gobble-gobble' into the Thanksgiving holiday on Friday, November 26 and Saturday, November 27. Adam Ratner, leader of the pack, says "Come be a part of the fun and join us at FST for the 'turkey-riffic' Kids Komedy Club show. There will be comedy, improv, games, sketches, audience participation - and no leftovers."
KKC fills a niche Sarasota is seriously lacking: fun, appropriate material for kids.
