We know him from his portrayal as Doug Heffernan on CBS's the 'King of Queens', but like so many sitcom stars before him, Kevin James got his start in the world of stand-up comedy. He broke into the film world with Columbia Pictures' Hitch starring opposite Will Smith and went on to produce, co-write and star in the hit comedies Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Zookeeper and Here Comes The Boom. Due to the success of Columbia Pictures' blockbuster Grown Ups, James will once again be starring with Adam Sandler in Grown Ups 2 which will arrive in theaters this summer.

NPR humorist and bestselling author, David Sedaris has become one of America's pre-eminent humor writers. His latest book, Let's Explore Diabetes With Owls, a collection of narrative essays which will delight you with twists of humor and intelligence, debuted at #1 on the New York Times bestseller list. He is also the author of Barrel Fever and Holidays on Ice, as well as collections of personal essays, Naked, Me Talk Pretty One Day, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim and When You Are Engulfed in Flames, each of which became a bestseller. David Sedaris will deliver a 60-minute reading followed by 20-30 minutes of audience questions. There will be a book signing in the lobby area following the event. Books will be available for purchase at the theatre. Come experience his sardonic wit and incisive social critiques as he makes his way onto the King Center stage!
