John McDonald Company to Sponsor Maltz Jupiter Theatre's Upcoming Season
By: Reynard Loki
The Maltz Jupiter Theatre's production schedule has yet to begin, and already area sponsors are lining up to be part of the regional theater's sixth season.
Among this year's Presenting Sponsors is the John McDonald Company of Jupiter, a luxury homebuilding firm headed by Dennis McDonald. The John McDonald Company is a presenting sponsor of "Barnum," the rollicking story of that master showman, P.T. Barnum, set in a circus, the venue that Barnum created for children of all ages. The Tony Award-winning musical will be presented at the Theatre Jan. 6 through Jan. 25."Many of my clients are major supporters of the Maltz Jupiter Theatre," said McDonald, whose construction history includes a cadre of luxury residences in The Loxahatchee Club. "Our company goes back more than 25 years, and we are proud to be a part of the Jupiter area. We felt the support of the Maltz Jupiter Theatre was a way to give back to this community that has been so important to us for so many years."Dennis McDonald added that the company's commitment extends beyond this season, and he will be sponsoring another production in the 2009-2010 Maltz Jupiter Theatre season as well.
