FOR STUDENTS AND SENIORS, PLUS SPECIAL DISCOUNTS FOR LARGE GROUPS

Half-Off Same-Day Rush Discount Offered to Individual Students and Seniors

All Groups of 20 or More People—Regardless of Age—Also Receive Major Discounts

As part of its ongoing initiative to make the performing arts as accessible to as wide and diverse an audience as possible, Carnival Center for the Performing Arts launches new programs designed to make lower-priced tickets available to students, seniors, and groups of 20 or more. As part of the new H.O.T. at Carnival Center program, full-time students and seniors (65 and over) are now eligible for Half-Off Tickets to same-day performances of most Carnival Center-presented shows. Furthermore, groups of 20 or more are eligible for discounts ranging between 10% and 50% on tickets purchased in advance, depending on the size and age of the group 

"H.O.T. at Carnival Center offers students and seniors a great value and opportunity to see performances at Carnival Center at a fraction of the prices they would otherwise pay.  Based on New York City's half-price TKTS booth in Times Square, our H.O.T. at Carnival Center program removes another barrier to the fulfillment of the Center's mission to entertain and educate audiences of all ages," said Michael Hardy, president and CEO of Carnival Center.

H.O.T. at Carnival Center and Group Discounts are available for most performances selected and presented by Carnival Center each year, including jazz from around the world; theater works both intimate and spectacular; shows for children and families; contemporary dance; experimental works and beloved classics; pop stars, acclaimed cabaret artists, favorite comedians, and more.

To participate in H.O.T. at Carnival Center, full-time students must present valid student I.D. and seniors (65 and over) must present current picture I.D. at Carnival Center's Box Office Window (1300 Biscayne Blvd., Downtown Miami) to purchase tickets on the same day of the performance. H.O.T. at Carnival Center are available for "Carnival Center Presents" performances only and are subject to availability of seats at time of purchase. Limit 1 ticket per person. The Carnival Center Box Office is open Monday-Saturday 10-6, two hours before all performances, and Sundays beginning at noon when there is a performance scheduled.

For all groups of 20 or more, there are group discounts ranging between 10% and 50% on most "Carnival Center Presents" performance tickets as well as the opportunity to purchase tickets before they go on sale to the general public. Group Discounts are also available for most Broadway Across America-Miami performances. Flexible payment options and several other benefits are also available to groups. Discount rates begin at 10% for groups of 20-49 people and go up to 20% for groups of 100 or more. Student and seniors groups of 20 or more are eligible for a 50% discount on tickets purchased in advance. While they are ideal for alumni association events, professional group outings, and corporate entertaining, group discounted tickets may be used as employee incentives, client appreciation gifts, and fund-raisers.
