Garden Theatre Announces 2010 SUMMER MOVIE SERIES, Kicks Off 6/17
The Garden Theatre is pleased to announce the 2010 Summer Movie Series, running from June 17 through September 16, sponsored by Progress Energy at the Garden Theatre (160 West Plant Street). This summer's line-up includes 36 feature-length films; Thursdays are Vintage Favorites, Fridays are Family Nights, and Saturdays are Cult Classics.

For just $50, the passholder and two others can attend any and all of the 36 movies in the 2010 Summer Movie Series at the Garden Theatre; that breaks down to just $.46 per person per movie. Located in the heart of historic downtown Winter Garden on Plant Street, the Garden Theatre is operated by the Winter Garden Heritage Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit community organization which works to preserve local history and offers cultural theatric experiences unique to West Orange County and the citizens of Winter Garden. The theatre restoration project, which began in 2003, showcases an atmospheric theatre in a Mediterranean Revival style venue. The former single screen movie theater hosts live theatre, dance and music, cinema viewings, various community events and educational programs.
