First Staged Readings of ACAPULCO Held At SoBe Arts 1/30

ACAPULCO by New York writer Jacquelyn Reingold (HBO's In Treatment) and featuring L.A.-based Evan Handler (Sex and the City & Californication) and N.Y.-based Nadia Dajani (The Big C & Ugly Betty) with South Florida actors Amy McKenna (South Beach Babylon & SoBe Arts' Twelfth Night) & Elayne Wilks. Directed by Tony and Drama Desk-nominated Michael Leeds. Produced Carson Kievman (Executive Artistic Director) with Glen Lawrence (Theater Faculty)

Patrons interested in gaining a more complete understanding of Acapulco, by Jacquelyn Reingold and script writing in general, are invited to attend a free pre-event prior to the Sunday night reading of Acapulco: "Art Speaks: Jacquelyn Reingold -Writing for Stage and Commercial Television," featuring a open discussion between Ms. Reingold and Carson Kievman

the Miami Beach Convention Center and 21st Street Recreation Center
