Empire Stage Theatre Presents Free Reading of ROSES ARE BLIND, 7/21
Roses are Blind is based on the true-life story of college student, Julie Janson, after she inadvertently uncovers a family secret. In an attempt to suppress the truth; her family falsely admits her into a psychiatric ward where she is immersed in the nightmare of a psychiatric misdiagnosis. Fighting for her life inside "Ward 9", Julie is surrounded by a slew of colorful characters, including Yolanda, a diagnosed Schizophrenic, with 9 personalities that miraculously fuel her resilient spirit.
