CULTURE & COCKTAILS At The Colony to Open 12th Season with 'Kravis Memories'

Rena Blades, President & Chief Executive Officer of the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County, today announced the launch of the 2016-2017 season of the popular series CULTURE & COCKTAILS.

The first of five fascinating Conversations will be held on Monday, November 7, at The Colony Hotel Pavilion, located at 155 Hammon Avenue in Palm Beach.

A Conversation about the 25th Anniversary of the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts

Sharing back stage stories about Palm Beach County's largest performing arts center and many of the celebrated stars that have appeared there will be:

+ Lee Bell, Senior Director of Programming

Admission to each CULTURE & COCKTAILS event is $65 for advance RSVPs and $75 at the door, and FREE for members of the Cultural Council ($250 level and above). Each event will run from 5 to 7 pm, with registration and cocktails from 5 to 5:45 p.m., and the "Conversation" from 5:45 to 7 pm, including audience Q&A. The Colony will serve complimentary beverages and an array of specially prepared hors d'oeuvres before each CULTURE & COCKTAILS conversation.

The Cultural Council is the official support agency for arts and culture for Palm Beach County serving non-profit organizations, individual artists and arts districts. The Council promotes the county's cultural experiences through an integrated program of advertising, public relations and marketing activities to both visitors and residents. Each year, the Council administers more than $3.6 million in grants, supports arts and cultural education, provides capacity building training, and advocates for funding and arts-friendly policies.
