Broward Cultural Division Wins 12 NACIO Awards
Broward Cultural Division has been awarded 12 national Awards of Excellence from the National Association of County Information Officers (NACIO) for public information projects that exhibit expertise in communications. Broward County won 34 awards total - with the Cultural Division winning the most of any agency.
For more than three decades NACIO's annual Awards of Excellence program has recognized the best works of county public information officers and community outreach efforts by local governments in a variety of categories including: public relations campaigns, brochures and publications, articles and press releases, videos and internet/electronic innovations.
In order of importance, the awards are given as: Best of Class, Superior,Excellent and Meritorious. The following is the class and category of the Division's winning entries:
