Boca Raton Theatre Guild's 11th Annual Play Reading Festival

By: Apr. 23, 2010

The Boca Raton Theatre Guild's 11th Annual Play Reading Festival will feature eight original works by playwrights from across America.

Running three days only - April 23-25th - at the Willow Theatre in Boca Raton's Sugar Sand Park, the Festival includes such intriguing titles as Apple Pie by Peter Snoad (Jamaica Plain, MA), Violating Uncle Piggy by Judd Lear Silverman (Brooklyn, NY), Facelift by Diane Sampson (San Francisco, CA), and House Gift, by Paula Stone (Bethesda, MD).

Cindy Goldberg and Stephen Marc Robins share directorial duties - each will direct four plays.
And several members of the talented cast, including Anna Maria Leon, Vinny Mutarelli, Eric Stotts, and Blanca Goodfriend, will do double, and even triple duty during the production, appearing in two or three of the one-acters.

There will be a ‘talk-back' with the actors, directors and playwrights after each performance, and free refreshments will be served.

The Boca Raton Theatre Guild is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to producing professional quality productions and advancing the art of theatre in the South Florida community.

Tickets for the Boca Raton Theatre Guild's 11th Annual Play Reading Festival are $10 each, and are on sale at the Willow Theatre Box office: 561-347-3948. Performances are April 23rd and 24th at 7:30 p.m. and April 25th at 2:00 p.m.
