American Stage Theatre Company's After Hours Series continues with four new productions running in May. All performances are "Pay-What-You-Can" at the door and $20 in advance.

FIRST SUNDAY IMPROV Featuring THE DUMB SHOW
Gavin Hawke and Ricky Wayne
Sunday, May 2 at 8 p.m.
A hilarious, irreverent take on the world, starting with a simple audience suggestion, after which Hawk and Wayne create a series of characters and scenes that showcase the best and worst of humanity, and will have you laughing and shaking your head in wonder at the same time.

Wagner's TWILIGHT OF THE GODS in Concert
New Century Opera
May 3 and 10 at 8 p.m.
The Tarpon Springs-based New Century Opera presents highlights from its production of Richard Wagner's The Twilight of the Gods (Götterdämmerung), the culmination of Wagner's stupendous tetralogy in which the old gods are destroyed and the gold is returned to the Rhine Maidens. All selections will be sung in English, with company director Constantine Grame providing a lively narration describing the story of this timeless classic.

BAD DATES by Theresa Rebeck
Starring Lauren Wood
May 7, 8, 9 and 14, 15, 16 - Fridays & Saturdays at 8 p.m., Sundays at 3 p.m.
Walk a mile in Haley Walker's shoes, all 600 pairs! This divorced single-mom moves from Texas to New York and reenters a dating scene more daunting than breaking-in a new pair of stilettos. A string of rotten evenings, Tibetan Buddhists, and even the Romanian Mafia all get in the way of finding Mr. Right. A thoroughly charming and slyly sweet one-woman off-Broadway hit by the author of The Butterfly Collection and Broadway's Mauritius. An idiosyncratic journey of self-discovery by a single mother and self-described restaurant idiot-savant. Presented with Visek Ventures LLC.

American Stage Improv-Comedy Night!
ARTHUR, FELTON AND EDWARDS: ATTORNEYS AT LAWGHTER
Sunday, May 16 at 8 p.m.
Comedians Charles Harrelson, Brad Taylor and Eddie Wolfe present a night of Improv-comedy for those who love justice (or for those who like to poke fun at it). Directed by Ricky Wayne (THE DUMB SHOW), there is no defense for missing this night of ajudicatory fun.

THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES by Eve Ensler
May 28 and 29 at 7 and 9 p.m.
Obie Award-winner Eve Ensler's whirlwind tour of a forbidden zone, THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES introduces a wildly divergent gathering of female voices, including a six-year-old girl, a septuagenarian New Yorker, a vagina workshop participant, a woman who witnesses the birth of her granddaughter, a Bosnian survivor of rape, and a feminist happy to have found a man who "liked to look at it."
