As an actor, McCraney has distinguished himself for his acclaimed performance in "Blue/Orange" at Chicago's Northlight Theatre. Directed by NWSA Theatre Division Dean Patrice Bailey, McCraney will present The Ladies of AP Present. NFAA winner and president and founder of the Borscht Film Festival, Lucas Layva, a 1995 graduate, is currently attending Fordham University. Leyva who began his playwright career at 15 with Holy War has showcased ten works in six states. James Randolph will direct Lucas' Testostaunauts.

"In addition to the presence of enthusiastic audiences composed of the general public as well as students, the plays will have the added advantage of being presented in a serious theater environment with superior technical back-up."
