Muddy Magnolias Returns To Memphis Next Month ImageNashville-based rock band MUDDY MAGNOLIAS, will play the Halloran Centre Saturday, January 13th at 7:30pm. Memphians last saw this group supporting Gary Clark Jr. at Minglewood Hall in February 2016. Single and group tickets are on sale now.

After landing in Nashville four years ago to further explore her career in songwriting, Brooklyn native Jessy Wilson formed MUDDY MAGNOLIAS - a raw, soulful extension of blues roots rock. Her essence on stage embodies her most beloved influences - Nina Simone, Aretha Franklin and Tina Turner. The band found quick success touring with Gary Clark Jr., Zac Brown Band, Grace Potter and Record Company plus coveted slots at Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits and many more music festivals. Their debut album, Broken People, was released in October 2016 and was praised by The New York Times, NPR and named No. 1 on Yahoo! Music's "10 Best New Artists of 2016" list. The band is currently in the studio working on a follow-up release.

Tickets for their Memphis engagement are $15 and available for purchase online at the official Orpheum Theatre website, www.orpheum-memphis.com, the Orpheum Box Office (901.525.3000), and Ticketmaster. Special group rates are available by calling 901.529.4226 or emailing groups@orpheum-memphis.com. The 2017-18 On Stage at the Halloran Centre music series is sponsored in part by Swain Wealth Partners.

Muddy Magnolias debut album Broken People, is available now and in stores internationally.
