Jolin started her singing career at the tender age of eighteen when she won the MTV singing competition with her rendition of Whitney Houston’s Greatest Love of All. In 2004, she launched her first world tour, ‘J1 World Tour’, which spanned across Asia and North America, featuring songs from her successful albums.
Later, she launched the ‘Dancing Forever World Tour’ which included a beautifully choreographed dance performance. All the hard work paid off when she was crowned the Best Mandarin Female Singer at the Golden Melody Awards in 2007.
Her latest studio album entitled ‘Myself’ was released in 2010 and it debuted at number one on Taiwan’s G-Music Weekly Top 20 Mandarin and Combo Charts. The album sold 65,000 copies in Taiwan and was the fourth best-selling album in Taiwan for 2010. For the ‘Myself World Tour’, Jolin worked together with famous choreographers Miguel Zarate and Andre Fuentes.
